Representative Idol girl groups 4Minute and KARA recently got into a Japanese-speaking battle.

4Minute’s Sohyun and KARA’s Seungyeon appeared on the latest episode of MBC Flower Bouquet, where they had a conversation in Japanese. The MCs asked which group spoke better Japanese, as 4Minute debuted in Japan before KARA, who recently returned after a successful run in the country.

The youngest member Sohyun was chosen as the best Japanese speaker in the group, and proceeded to have a conversation with Seungyeon. The conversation started off casually with, “How have you been?”. Seungyeon then suddenly asked, “How were your Japan activities?”. Sohyun became embarrassed and began to try to answer her, but she soon became flustered asking Seungyeon to repeat her question.

4Minute and KARA also had many other battles throughout the show. Goo Hara had a chicken fight with Hyunah, while Jeon JiYoon battled it out with Kang JiYoung on the soccer ball kicking arcade game. Jeon JiYeon and Kang JiYoung surprised those on the set, by gaining scores that are hard for even men to reach.

After going through member changes, SeeYa is back as a duo group with a brand new powerful ballad from their digital single album, Baby Brown.

Holding their first showcase in Japan, F.CUZ managed to steal the hearts of over 700 fans at the Hug My Heart showcase in Tokyo. Not only did the boys perform and interact with their fans, but they also announced exciting news for their future activities.

Over 700 fans showed up in support for F.CUZ’s first Japanese showcase. Many girls had practiced their Korean before coming to the show, now saying “Oppa, you’re great,” and “I really, really like you!” with a fluent accent. After a video showing the boys’ previous promotions throughout Asia, F.CUZ went on stage and performed Go, Jiggy, and No One.

F.CUZ took their fans by surprise as they began speaking in fluent Japanese, almost as if repaying their fans for learning Korean for them. Leader JinOn spoke first, saying, “We prepared a lot, so we will show you all fantastic performances. We will become a group that will work hard, so that we don’t disappoint you.” Member YeJun went on to say, “It’s really nice meeting you all, I’ve been really looking forward to this showcase.”

“I really wanted to meet you all, so please sing along,” Lee U said with a warm smile. The four members got ready for their solo performances as Kan said “Please look forward to our performances.” Kan went on to give a passionate performance of a song by his senior Rain while Lee U took a fan from the audience and sang to her.

After Yejun and LeeU performed If U Leave and Run It, the members presented their fans with Korean pancakes that they had made themselves. The boys spent many hours writing many message cards for their fans along with deciding what prized possessions they would give away as gifts. While it seemed that the showcase couldn’t get any better, the boys announced that they would be holding their first solo concert in Japan on December 12th.

For the showcase’s finale, the boys came back on stage with shirts filled with handwritten notes of support that fans had made for them. Going along with the name of the showcase, Hug My Heart, the idols went on to give their fans hugs along with promises of returning.

Although the boys have been spending quite some time in Japan, they also announced that they would be making a comeback in Korea in October with a single as well as releasing their second mini-album by the end of November.

Making their way through their Japanese activities, Big Bang has been appearing in many of their tv shows. Making an appearance on Fuji TV‘s Mecha Iketeru, the boys seem to have had a great time practicing their Japanese with the cast members.

The female members of Mecha Iketeru were shocked as the Big Bang members walked into the room, “It’s Big Bang!!” the happily exclaimed. The five members got to interact with the cast as they introduced themselves and their roles in Big Bang. Lucky member TOP even got the chance to feed sushi to one of the female cast, causing snickers from the group members.

Of course, Big Bang couldn’t leave the show without giving a performance of their fifth Japanese single, Tell Me Goodbye. G-Dragon singled out one of the female casts during his solo rap while TOP took his lead and managed to lead her to the middle of the dance floor, causing what is now a very memorable performance, check it out below:

Super Junior’s very own casanova, EunHyuk, recently revealed his ideal dating girl and his ideal wife on the latest recording of KBS Happy Birthday, “The girl (I) wish to marry and the girl (I) wish to have a relationship with are different.”

He further explained that, “(I) wish to have a relationship with a girl who is slightly proud, like a competitor… (But I) wish to marry a girl who is kind and only loves me.”

Onew recently tried to charm actress Kim JungEun by using a cheesy pick-up line.

SHINee and f(x)‘s Luna guest starred on the latest episode of SBS Kim JungEun’s Chocolate, where they had a fake blind date.

The five members then proceeded to charm Luna and Kim JungEun in their own ways.

One member that stood out was Onew, who got rid of his cute image to attempt to ‘seduce’ Kim JungEun with a cunning look. Onew caused laughter on the set by saying, “I can steal your heart. I started preparing for this as soon as I got here.”

Onew then looked at Kim JungEun and delivered a cheesy pick-up line saying, “Blinking wastes my time, because I can’t see you.”

He became flustered after Key told him, “This was a little too much.” Onew could only laugh due to his embarrassment. However, Kim JungEun was the only one who seemed so happy.

Jonghyun also took a stab at gaining some points from the two ladies by telling a joke, only to have it spoiled by the audience and Kim JungEun. Luna suggested that should sing, which he agreed to by serenading Brown Eyed Soul‘s Nothing Better to Kim JungEun. Key and Minho also sang and rapped a part from their song Wowowow.

On this episode, SHINee also performed Let’s Not Forget with Luna as well as their current title song Lucifer.

After a successful fan meet stretching from August 28-29, during which fans of Jay Park donated money, recyclable mobile phones, blood, transportation cards, and rice wreaths to several different charities and organizations, the Jaywalkers are back again with their giving spirits and generous donations.

A few days ago, the Leukemia Association of Korea updated its website with a message proclaiming that fans of Jay Park donated rice cakes and more than 500 blood donor registration cards for children suffering from said disease. The organization uploaded photos of the rice cakes that were sent in and wrote the following message:

“The rice cakes and official donor registration cards have arrived to our office. Like before, Park Jaebum’s fanclub has done a good deed under the celebrity’s name, and displayed a gracious side of the club.

The J-Effect collected 514 blood donor registration cards as well as a great box of delicious rice cakes. We hope that in the future, the good deeds of the J-Effect [will] soon be a good role model for many other fanclubs. Once again, we thank you for your interest and love for children with leukemia.”
