They were heading to Japan for the first time to appear at their showcase on August 22nd, when the plane was hit by lightning during the takeoff. Prior to this, the 9 of them were filming the MV for their Japanese single album when the recording studio transformer was also hit by lightning, putting a halt to their progress and causing commotions from the blackout. The lightning God must have a lot of love for the Soshi girls!

That’s not all, on August 25th, the day of their Japanese showcase, while they were preparing to come out of the dressing room, the whole passageway’s lights went out.

Tiffany stated that: “I was scared since the plane that we rode in for the first schedule in Japan was hit by lightning, but I thought of it as a sign of a big hit coming and did my very best for the showcase.”

While Sooyoung also stated that: “It just feels like a scene out from a movie, the plane was shaking so violently”. Taeyeon meanwhile complained of their bad luck: “We’ve always experienced blackout incidents during our music video filming, and yet we’ve had another one at the music video filming studio for our Japanese single album.”

Is this a sign of a big hit to come for the girls, or is it just plain bad luck? You decide. Soshi Fighting!

Meanwhile, BoA, Super Junior, f(x), SNSD and a total of 40 SM Entertainment artists arrived at LA Tom Bradley International Airport on September 3rd, 11AM on a chartered jet for their upcoming SM Town Live ’10 World Tour in LA concert.

SME, who hired a Boeing’s 747-400 model were reported to have paid a whooping 10 million won to the airline company. This is by far a first for any company.

Well, not really. But Korean Stars will be participating in a special program of MBC TV this September.

Information about the MBC Mid-Autumn Festival was recently released.  It is said that Korean stars will be participating in a 100 meter sprint, high jump, long jump, javelin, and a 400 meter relay.

Idols such as Super Junior, SHINee, f(x)’s Luna, 2PM, Miss A, 2AM, 8eight, Son DamBi, After School, ZE:A, Jewelry, Nine Muses, Park JungAh, BEAST, 4Minute, G. NA , T-ARA, Seeya, Infinite, FT Island, MBLAQ, Rainbow, Sistars, Secret, K.Will, and U-Kiss will all be present on the show.

The official date of the event will be on September 14^th, from 9am- 8pm.

We have just seen the photos of the well-loved SM Town family as they flew to their next world tour stop – Los Angeles, California.

Now that they have touched down in LAX hours ago, BoA, Yunho, Changmin, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x), Go Ahra, Lee Yeonhee, and the rest of the SM Town were welcomed by an overwhelming number of fans at the airport.

We could not emphasize more how this trip is very special for everyone, not only because of the chartered plane, but also because SM Entertainment will be the first Korean agency to hold a large-scale world tour.

But one artist who definitely felt how special this event is, is SME’s solo performer, BoA.  BoA debuted in the United States almost two years ago with a self-titled album, and spent around a year in the said continent promoting her songs. Now, BoA is finally back in the US, but this time not just as a solo artist.

“When I went to LA, I went alone, but now I’m not alone. I came with my SM family,” she said.

Can we not hear BoA’s happiness as she said that? In the meantime, here is a short video of BoA arriving in LA.

Though the brothers had quite a “battle“, they are pursuing to build their own business.

It was earlier announced that brothers Kim HyungJoon of SS501 and Kim KiBum of U-Kiss had plans of opening up their own business.

On the 2nd of September, Kim KiBum updated his Cyworld homepage and announced that, ” ‘HnBcompany.com‘ will have a new look on September 4th”.

The new company name, HnBcompany.com, is made from their initials.

Even if the site has not been launched yet, the logo of the company was posted on a magazine that talked about Kim HyungJoon’s fan meeting.

So fans, are you ready for this?

SS501‘s Kim HyunJoong recently created a website for his fans to keep track of his busy schedule in the drama Mischievous Kiss, as well as other things, such as his upcoming singing endeavors, be it solo or with his group.

Since it is new, nothing much has been posted online yet, but what has sparked many people’s interest is that on the top right hand corner of the site, there is an option to view the site in Korean as well as English. This shows that HyunJoong is aware of his international fans and is thinking about them, or at least Keyeast is.

The boys of Big Bang are up to their usual crazy antics as they do a photo shoot for FILA‘s latest footwear.

Fans have already taken a good look at Big Bang’s campaign pictures for FILA EON but now they get a special treat as they get a chance to see what the boys did while on set. Pumping up everyone with excitement is the maknae SeungRi, who even manages to get TOP to give a hearty shout. Leader G-Dragon couldn’t help his smile as he posed in front of a sleeping TOP who seemed to be in a tired mood. While both Daesung and TOP took their time to give cool poses, it’s SeungRi who was full of energy, giving a new pose every second. “What are they feeding him?” a fan jokingly asked.
